To mark this incredible milestone, we recently held a competition for our amazing Beacon staff to design the perfect badge to commemorate 150 years of supporting people with sight loss. The response was phenomenal – we were blown away by the creativity, passion, and talent displayed by our team.
After much deliberation, we’re thrilled to announce that a member of our retail team has been chosen as the winner! Their fantastic design perfectly captures the spirit of Beacon and the journey we’ve been on over the last century and a half.
The winning badge will be available to purchase very soon in all our charity shops and at the reception of our centre in Sedgley. Keep an eye out for this special collector’s item – it’s the perfect way to show your support for Beacon and celebrate 150 years of making a difference!
Thank you to everyone who entered the competition and to all our supporters for being part of this incredible journey.
