Continue ReadingIt’s that time of year where we are getting ready to celebrate National Volunteers’ Week with our brilliant team of volunteers here at Beacon.
During this special 150th year for Beacon, we are asking our staff, beneficiaries and members of the public to nominate a Beacon volunteer who you think deserves one of our annual awards.
It might be someone who always gives you a cheerful smile and a helping hand when you visit one of our shops, or perhaps has gone above and beyond to make a difference.
Everyone put forward for an award will be told just how highly someone thought of them and we’ll be announcing the winners during Volunteers’ Week starting 2nd June.
There are three categories that you can nominate for:
Outstanding Contribution Award
For a volunteer who has really made a difference.
New Volunteer of the Year
For a volunteer who has been with Beacon for 12 months or less.
The Spirit of Beacon Award
A special award to celebrate our 150th year, for a volunteer who has shown commitment to Beacon over a period of time, demonstrating outstanding dedication to their role and to Beacon.
Please complete the attached nomination form with as much detail as possible and return it to people@beaconvision.org before 26th April.
