Dudley Talking Therapies Plus is a free, confidential mental wellbeing service. We provide support for mental health challenges like anxiety, stress and depression, offering flexible, creative and culturally appropriate approaches to therapy.

 

What support will I get?

  • Multilingual therapists offering one-to-one and group therapies for BAME communities
  • Creative therapeutic group work involving art, drama and music-making for diverse audiences, including LGBTQ+, older adults and individuals with anxiety
  • 1:1 counselling and family counselling
  • Bereavement support
  • Counselling for cancer patients, their carers and family members
  • Counselling provision specifically for individuals impacted by sight loss
  • Clinically focused emotional support for those impacted by sight loss, including carers and parents
  • Anger management and mentoring support through individual and group sessions
  • Therapies for complex, mental health needs (anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence and abuse)
  • Creative arts-based therapies (art therapy, dramatherapy) for individuals with anxiety, social anxiety and those recovering from abuse
  • Well-being groups and group counselling for those looking to improve their mental health in a supportive group setting.

Step 2: Initial Chat We will have an initial phone call / review your referral and assess your needs and determine whether our services are the right fit for you. Together, we’ll plan how to help you feel better. Step 3: Begin your therapy Once the assessment is complete, we’ll suggest the best therapy options for you, with the aim to start quickly. We’ll also offer advice on any additional help available while you are waiting for your therapy to begin.
