Cancer Research Trials

We want to hear from you!

The Beacon Centre is working to make clinical trials more accessible for people with sight loss, and your views can help shape how they are delivered in the future.

Clinical trials are a vital part of developing new treatments, including those for cancer. But we know that information and opportunities to take part are not always clear or accessible if you’re living with or impacted by a visual impairment.

That’s why we’re asking you to take part in a short survey. Your feedback will:

  • Help the NHS understand what people with sight loss need when learning about clinical trials

  • Help influence how information is designed, shared, and made more inclusive

  • Ensure the voices of blind and partially sighted people are heard in future research

How to take part

You can complete the survey in two ways:

Online — Take the survey here
By Word document — Download the survey here

If you choose to fill in the Word version, please send it back to us:

Why your voice matters

Every response will help us highlight the experiences and needs of people with visual impairment. Together, we can ensure that clinical trials of the future are designed to be accessible, fair, and inclusive for everyone.
