Celebrating 10 years of festive fun
Pull on your Santa suit, lace up your trainers and join us for Wolverhampton’s most festive fundraiser, the Beacon Santa Run.
Where: West Park, Wolverhampton
When: Sunday 7th December 2025
Registration: From 9.30am | Run starts 10.05am
Distance: 5k (walk, jog or run – it’s all about the fun)
Our event is open to everyone, young, old and even our four-legged friends!
This year we’re adding an extra sprinkle of Christmas magic with a special visit from the Elf on the Shelf,  perfect for festive selfies with family and friends.
And in 2025 our four-legged friends will be an even bigger part of the celebration. The Santa Run is the perfect festive event to enjoy with your dog, so dress them up in their best Christmas outfit and make it a day to remember.
By joining the Santa Run, you’ll be helping Beacon support people living with sight loss across the Black Country and wider West Midlands. Every step, and every paw print, makes a difference. We’ll also have our professional photographer from Nathan Styles Photography, to give capture the festive fun with free downloads available after the event.

Fundraising is a fantastic way to get involved – whether you’re a family, a school, or part of a community group, every pound raised helps us continue our vital work. To thank you for your efforts, we’ve introduced some festive fundraising rewards:

Raise over £50 and you’ll receive an exclusive Beacon 150th Anniversary pin badge and a personal thank you card.

Raise over £150 and you’ll unlock a unique fundraising medal, a 150th Anniversary pin badge, and a pair of Christmas running laces.

Dogs can fundraise too! If your four-legged friend helps raise over £50, they’ll receive a special Christmas Dog Stocking as a thank you.
Not at all. The 5k route is suitable for all abilities. You can run, jog, walk – or even dance around the park.
Yes. Your ticket includes a Santa suit (children get a Santa hat). Dogs get a festive bandana with their ticket.
Of course. This is a family-friendly event but under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
