Transport

The Beacon Centre has been running a transport service for over 20 years, helping people to get to our centres at Sedgley and Stourbridge, as well as getting out and about in the community. The service is a lifeline for those who may otherwise be unable to get out of their own home.

We’ve got a fleet of five minibuses operating across areas including:

  • Wolverhampton
  • Dudley
  • Bilston
  • Brierley Hill
  • Stourbridge

We can help with transport:

  • To and from our Centres
  • To the GP, hospital or other medical appointments
  • For grocery shopping

Our drivers and volunteers are trained to support people with sight loss and other disabilities, and will ensure you get the assistance you need to make sure your journey is as comfortable as possible.

The drivers are amazing, they help me in and out of the minibus and into the centre. Without the services I would be stuck at home seven days a week, which would make me feel anxious and very depressed.
