Shop with us
Shopping with Beacon is a great way to help support the work we do as well as helping you shop sustainably from our range of preloved clothing, furniture and other items . Whether you choose to pop into one of our charity shops across the West Midlands, or shop online via eBay, every purchase you make helps us continue to provide support for people living with sight loss in our community.

Our shops
Our shops generate around 36% of our annual income, so by shopping with us, donating items and opting for gift aid, you really can make a huge difference. Our shops also includes our Clearance Centre which specialises in furniture and larger household items which can be used as they are or upcycled to your taste.
Wherever you visit to donate your items, please do take a moment to Gift Aid if you can which will help us raise even more from your donation. Our friendly shop staff are on hand to help.

Making a donation
We are always grateful for your donations, but we can sometimes struggle for storage space, so it may be worth ringing in advance to check if we are able to take your donation at this time, particularly with large or bulky items. We also kindly ask for donations not to be left outside our shops when they are closed, as they can cause a hazard especially for people with sight loss and are often damaged.
We accept good quality clothing, bric-a-brac, and furniture. Please remember to gift aid if you can as it makes a huge difference.
If you need furniture collecting or would like to arrange a house clearance, please call our Clearance Centre to find out more or ask in any of our shops. To get in touch with our shops, call 01902 880 111 and press option two.

eBay
If you can’t make it along to one of our shops in person, the good news is you can shop with us online via eBay.
We list a wide range of good-quality second hand clothes, books, toys and more on our online store, so you can support us wherever you are.
Our Ebay StoreHandmade crafts
Handmade crafts produced by our members have always been part of our history here at Beacon. Back in 1899, we became one of the first charities in the UK to open a shop, selling handmade baskets, chair seats and mats made in our workshops.
These days, we are still busy crafting, but we now use cutting-edge printing technology to produce unique personalised gifts such as t-shirts, mugs, seasonal decorations and more in our Fab Lab.
These products are available to buy at the Beacon Centre charity shop in Sedgley and online at Made by Fab Lab on Etsy.
