VI Golf

Blind and visually impaired (VI) Golf is played with the assistance of a sighted coach. Beacon is proud to be working closely with the team at The Chase Golf Club to deliver VI friendly, 6 week beginners coaching courses.

Golf is more than just a sport. It offers you the chance to meet and socialise with people in your community which can help improve your health and wellbeing. It keeps you fit, reduces stress and lets you learn a new skill.

We are always looking for budding new players to join us on any level, from total newcomers to those returning to the sport. To learn more about our golf programs and how you can get involved, get in touch.

Volunteer with us

We need your help to run our services and support us across Staffordshire. Volunteers are the backbone of Beacon, helping us improve many lives. Whether you have little or no knowledge of sight loss we have a role for you. It could be in the community, supporting our staff or simply lending a hand.

Get in touch via the form below and tell us more about you.

Help us shape the future

We need your help to shape sight loss services across the County. For the past few months we have been asking the public to tell us about how they are supported, what works, what needs improving and what you would like to see available in the future.

Many people from the VI community have kindly completed our survey, but we want to hear from you. We’d be grateful if you could take 10 minutes to fill out a short survey here.
