We are pleased to announce that not one, not two but three of our Beacon Bowling teams have made it to the national league finals. The Tigers, Lions and Panthers are all heading to Wigan in April. It’s going to be a real catfight for the trophy as we fight tooth and claw for victory. Commiserations to the Jaguars and Pumas who unfortunately just missed out.

More great news. The Beacon Tigers won the national team knockout tournament. Kimberley Jeffreys won the national singles knockout tournament. We have secured two out of the four main trophies available so far. Hopefully at Wigan we can now pull off the hat trick, or even better, take home the lot. It’s been an incredibly successful year for all of us.

Star Bowler
Kim is this year’s star bowler. This is for an outstanding season, winning the trophy in the team knockout with the Beacon Tigers, winning the singles knockout and also getting a third trophy for qualifying for the finals- an unprecedented achievement.

Bowlerthon 2019 Approaches
Before the excitement of the finals, we have our Bowlerthon to look forward to on 25 March. There will be approximately 25 bowlers taking part, including challengers from Tenpin Dudley. I’m sure you’ll be waiting with bated breath to hear the outcome of our adventure to the finals. Will we win the big trophy? It’s going to be a tough challenge, but I think Wigan do it. %nYgyD$9
